The Teskey Brothers may have become international sensations but they haven’t forgotten their roots in Melbourne. They have a limited edition double album out for Record Store Day, recorded live at Melbourne’s beloved Forum last November, during the band’s sold out, four night stand.
It was recorded to analogue tape, is on 180g double-blue vinyl in a gatefold sleeve and will feature songs from the band’s two critically acclaimed albums Run Home Slow (2019) and Half Mile Harvest (2017), as well as a special cover of John Lennon’s ‘Jealous Guy’. And yes, Crying Shame is also on there.
The Teskey Brothers were keen to be involved in Record Store Day this year, but they’re committed overseas. We wish them all the best in taking their amazing music to the world.
