Sony is proud to announce that Prefab Sprout are getting involved in Record Store Day 2019 and will be releasing a special version Steve McQueen Acoustic.
In the summer of 2006, Paddy McAloon recorded new versions of tracks from Prefab Sprout’s classic album, Steve McQueen, rebuilding them from scratch with acoustic guitars, sequencers and samples, with producer Calum Malcolm.
These eight tracks, available on vinyl for the very first time, take on a new life of their own and as Paddy says “like many people – I’m always curious to hear another take on a song.”
