Landspeed seek to avoid the line up … online only for simplicity

Landspeed in Canberra are famous for the world’s longest Record Store Day queue. But this year that’s to be avoided, so in a huge move they’re going online only for RSD Drop August.

Instead online only at this website. Records will be available to purchaser from midnight Friday/Saturday, one copy of each title per customer and to Australian addresses only. You can buy as many different titles as you like but only one of each title.

Records can either be posted for a flat shipping fee of $10 (no matter where you live or how many records you buy) or can be collected from the store.  If you choose to collect, Landspeed will contact you when your order is ready to be collected but not on that Saturday or Sunday.

Store owner Blake Budak said “We hope everyone understands why we are taking these measures. We hope by April 2021 everything will be back to normal and we can celebrate with our biggest and best RSD ever!”
