James Thomson: Golden Exile. 7″ for Record Store Day. Only 20.

James Thomson has just recorded a new independent album ‘Golden Exile’ and somehow these two tracks didn’t make the cut, but they’re still great. That’s how good the album is! They couldn’t remain on the cutting room floor … James is a troubadour storyteller country/bluesman who is wise beyond his years . These two beautifully crafted songs are example of  James’s ability to draw in the listener and caress them with an aching tale of  despair .

Lathe cut at Phonolab Newcastle. 20 only. And only available from Hiss & Crackle Records in Wallsend, Newcastle, NSW. The store/record label is celebrating their first proper Record Store Day by releasing three local Newcastle acts.
