Melbourne’s mysterious soul band The Pro-Teens are pressing two of their ‘wonkiest and most brilliant tunes’ onto a 7″ record for Record Store Day. Full Recovery (from Tumultous Times) and Cold Vein (from Thanks Team) are available from limited stores and in limited numbers.
This is funky soul with ‘crusty drum breaks and wonky grit’. The tracks were laid down over one weekend, so they are not heavily produced, but much more organic and real.
